The physical theatre workshops cover aspects of the SATM and incorporates influences of Frank Theatre, Gecko and Complicitè. These are structured improvisations that explore movement and the creation of physical sequences.

Does your school enter the Gold Coast Secondary Schools Drama Festival?
James has been directing shows for the festival since 2010 and has won Best Drama, Best Comedy and Best Overall play. Students involved have received trophies for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Comedy Performance.
James has directed Junior, Intermediate and Senior plays across many genres. He is happy to direct something already chosen or work with Teachers to find an appropriate play.
The process is fun, challenging and rewarding. And while he can't promise a trophy, a good time will be had by all!

James is also co-director of Mercury’s Wings theatre Company. Established on the Gold Coast in 2006 by James and Claudine Anderson, MWTC has produced over 20 performances and has activated many local spaces.
